Highmark installs off-the-grid system for "woodsy" cabin in Lytton, BC.
LOCATION:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A popular private fishing destination in Lytton British Columbia, Ruddocks Ranch, was building a 5000 + sqft. luxury cabin to help accommodate guests.

NEED:
Due to the cabin's remote location high in the BC mountains, they needed an electrical contractor with experience in off the grid installs.
SOLUTION:
Highmark installed a 3180 W off grid system with a backup diesel generator. The project included 12 Canadian Solar all black 265W panels, Magnum MS4448 Inverter/charger, 175A Mini Magnum Panel, Midnite Classic 200 MPPT charge controller, 8 Surrette S-550 L16 Flooded lead acid batteries. A Solar install Like this is capable of fully charging the batteries in about 4 hours and can provide you with 3000W of power for all off grid loads, such as pumps, lights, receptacles, heat, etc.
